How do I use a shader property with unity particle system? Currently my shader is ignoring the color over life time for example.

Hello,

Thank you for using the Amplify Shader Editor, we really appreciate the support. Unfortunately, particle systems are currently not officially supported. I will register your email and contact you as soon as we have any new developments.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

Hello! It would be awesome if you add particle shader support. I can't wait this functionality. Do you have any plans or information to this subject? :)

If you only need color and alpha information you can actually use the Vertex Color node, as Shuriken is modifying vertex color to give Color to particles.

Hello! We deeply apologize for not getting in touch earlier, we do already offer a template specific for particles, which you can access through the Shader Type list, in Legacy > Particles Alpha Blended.

We also provide a sample that makes use of this template, which you can find in the Assets > AmplifyShaderEditor > Examples > Official > TemplateExamples > Particles > HeatHaze.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.
