Shader difference between play mode and scene window.

Postby oms064 » Fri Jan 26, 2018 6:53 am

Hello!
I am trying to create a fog shader.
In the scene windows it looks like this which is more or less the intended effect. I have some errors with the cubes on the background, maybe I'm using the Screen Depth incorrectly.

But in the game view it looks like this.

Here is my graph.

I don't know why this happens, if I only use the albedo input there is no error.
Is there something I am missing?

Hello oms064, thank you for getting in touch!

Using your node setup, I've replicated the shader with the default Remap node value, the Blend Mode set to Transparent, and there seems to be no issue present in the game view, as per the screenshot below.

Could you provide us with your shader sample or at lease the values used for the Remap and Output nodes?

Also, which Unity and ASE versions are you using?
Be sure to download the latest build, available in our website.

Looking forward to your reply!
