Does Amplify Texture 2 help at all with Large 2D sprites?

I am working on a project with some very large 2D sprites presented as a flat plane to the viewer (they can touch and drag the sprites around like a large map view). Does your technology stream that type of asset in Unity or would the images need to be formatted into a material and applied to a quad/plane to stream the data?

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in Amplify Texture 2.

Unfortunately at the moment it would only be possible via a quad/plane mesh using any of the compatible Amplified Shaders. We are looking into support for actual 2D Sprite components without additional work on the end user side, we will keep you posted on any new updates.

If using a Plane is not an issue for your current project you should definitely give AT2 a try. Let us know if you need any additional information, we would be happy to help.

Thanks
