Overlap shadow effect sprites

Hi!
The idea is that two sprites affect the color of what ever there is behind them but the effect doesn't add up when this two sprites overlap.
Much better explained with an image.

I tried using 'grab screen color' but didn't work. I read using a stencil could work but I can't figure out how to use it.

Any ideas are welcome.
Thank you.

Hello, thank you for getting in touch!

Although we currently have no specific sample for this type of effect, here's a good reference that should help you get started on one of the possible ways of achieving it.

You'll likely have to edit the Sprite Template we provide within the ASE package or, if you prefer, use it as a starting point to create your own custom shader.

Please let me know if you have any further questions, thanks!
