uncherted wet effect How Two set texture in to ramp Colors

hi maybe a noob question i am trying to make an wet effect like in uncharted but only in water level...... if we were in maya i would use ramp witch i would set two Spec texture as colors and move them along U or the V Axis of the UV depending on if and how much he is wet

can some help me because i dont see for moment how to make that with ASE

Hello, thank you for getting in touch and for your support!

I'm not entirely sure which Uncharted game or specific effect you're referring to, I would require further details, perhaps through screenshots or a video, in order to best help you.

Still, we do provide two samples that might help with wetness / water type effects, which you can find in the AmplifyShaderEditor > Examples > Official > PositionCutoff folder.

In both provided examples, you may swap the Vertex Position node for the World Position, depending on how you want the effect to behave. The Lerp node will then interpolate between the surface's texture and a tint value, based on how the cutoff effect is setup.

it Did help a bit thanks !!!! but only if i put alpha texture that is full black down and white in half up i will post a picture what i need is some sort procedural ramp black and white to set the alpha value does that is on ASE ?
