Bloom mask assumes opaque objects

Postby sticklez » Sun Apr 15, 2018 2:59 am

Hey the demo works great and I would like to purchase it up, but I have an issue-

I was following the directions for a mask for AR purposes, and I thought it wasn't working, when I noticed the mask is just for for the mesh shapes themselves. I have a lot of particles an a specific large transparent mesh that need the effect, and they cause the background to bloom as well.

Is there some way of having the mask retain alpha values?

Thank you for reaching us, we will require some additional information in order to better help you out.

Is it possible for you to give us some additional information on how you are creating the mask which you then feed to Amplify Bloom Mask Texture property?

Are you using our Amplify Bloom AR Sample? This sample only masks the contents captured by the webcam and applies Bloom to all objects in the unity scene itself.

Could you please specify if you want the bloom effect to ignore transparent objects?

Looking forward to your reply!
