Nintendo Switch Support?

Postby GreybornStudios » Mon Dec 03, 2018 4:55 pm

Hello, we are starting to port our game to consoles and were wondering if Amplify shaders support the Switch? Under Rendering Platforms we do not see an option for the Switch (just 3DS and Wii U).

We can't seem to find a setting which provides the propper "#pragma only_renderers" code. Or will it "just work" with the "exclude_renderers" Amplify is using instead?

Also, we are registered Nintendo developers, so if we need to take this offline, please let us know. Thanks for any help on this.

Maybe if I ask differently :D - Do we need to do anything special with our Amplify shaders to support Nintendo Switch?

Bump. Some simple support on this from Amplify would be very welcome. Thank you.

Hello, apologies for the delay in our response, we've confirmed that Unity does not yet provide a specific tag for the Switch, however, the shaders we've authored for our own game are running on the Switch port without any issue, so there shouldn't be any specific requirement at this time.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.
