so i intend to buy the Multi-Tile UV Bake Tool but i need to try it out first to see if it will suit my need.
after downloading and installing the trial, i always get this runtime error any time i try to use the tool

Hello,

Thanks for getting in touch, we would be happy to help.

From the description the problem seems to be caused by lack of Account Permissions or conflicting UAC (User Account Control) options. Run 3dsMax as Administrator (Right Click on the 3dsMax Executable - Run as Administrator), reinstall the MZP package and restart 3dsMax. If that does not work, temporarily disable the windows UAC and install the script.

UAC Instructions: Microsoft Page

Let me know if the information above helped.

Thanks!

Hello,

No problem, glad to know it's working. It's a common issue due to a 3ds Max limitation, hopefully it can be bypassed in the future.

Hi Recardo

so i finally purchased the product and i am wondering how to go about the installation since i already installed the trial version.

1. how can i remove or uninstall the trial so i can install the licensed version.
let me mention that i am no scripting expert like most of you guys so please forgive my silly questions.

2. So the download page makes mention of unlocking further updates with some Product key.
and i haven't received any Product key in my email yet, so please look into it if you can.

thanks in advance.

Hello,

No problem, we would be happy to help. To update simple run 3ds Max as Administrator and drag & drop the full version package into the viewport as you did with the Trial version; be sure to restart max before using it.

I can confirm that the key was sent this morning, you can now access future updates via the Download Page.

Let us know if you have any additional questions, thanks!
