Hello,

Thank you for your interest, we really appreciate it. Unfortunately 2D support is somewhat limited in Amplify Motion. Our motion blur solution is mainly geared towards dynamic 3d Assets, Skinned Meshes, Cutout and Mesh Based Particle Systems, and Cloth Meshes. 2D camera blur should work for most cases but we cannot guarantee it.

We strongly recommend testing the fully functional trial version: Download

As an alternative, we usually recommend using a mesh renderer (mesh plane, Cutout Material) instead of a sprite renderer; in some cases using a proxy mesh plane attached to a hidden 2D controlling game object works quite well.

We would be happy to recommend another package, can you tell us a bit more about your project or share a few screenshots?

Thanks!

Hello,

Unfortunately, it wont work with 2d sprite renderers. Can you replace it with a 3d mesh? If so, we definitely recommend trying it out with the fully functional trial version.

There aren't many options available specifialy for 2d projects, the Mobile Motion Blur package comes to mind.

Thanks!

Hello,

That is unfortunate, I hoped it was fast enough for your requirements. You would have to remake the asset entirely in 3d, I do not recommend it if your project is already complete. I recommend creating blurred sprites in another program (Photoshop, AfterEffects etc) and blending it in with your own sprites.

Thanks!
