Metallic Toon Shader?

Postby savvamadar » Wed Apr 03, 2019 2:49 am

I have a very simple toon shader setup here that I copied from the toon shader provided with ASE:

How should I go about adding a metallic variation of this shader?

I'd like it to have reflections and specular highlights similar to the "brushed metal" shader - but if that isn't possible what's the closest I can get?

Thank you!

Also: Transparency would be nice but I can make a new thread for that later.

Hello, we've provided a Standard Surface Light node specific for the Custom Lighting mode, allowing you to achieve a Metallic or Specular workflow and saving you the trouble of having to manually setting this up yourself!

Regarding Transparency, you can enable the Opacity port by changing your Blend Mode:
